St. Croix Valley United Methodist Church is located in Lakeland, MN. Our Church is a caring and enthusiastic community of believers seeking to proclaim the Gospel and provide a welcome, nurturing environment where all can experience the help, hope and love of Jesus Christ. Our church has about 200 members and offers weekly traditional and contemporary worship services, Bible studies, and Christian education for adults, children and teens, as well as many opportunities to get together for fellowship and fun! Our philosophy is to Seek. Savor. Serve. Share. We seek after God. Savor God’s word. Serve God’s people. Share God’s love. In all that we do, St. Croix Valley UMC holds this philosophy and lives it daily through our extensive outreach ministries.
Our mission is "To know Christ and make Him known." We accomplish our mission by creating environments where people are encouraged and equipped to pursue a relationship with God, relationships with other believers, and lead others to relationship with Jesus. The steps on this journey are often referred to within our Church as being:
On the Shore – seeking to find more (Seek)
On the Dock –
making a decision to join a church community (Savor)
In the Boat –
connecting through giving of your time to do God’s work (Serve)
On the Water –
ready to lead others in service (Share)
We hope you find information within this site that will give you an idea of who we are at St Croix Valley UMC. However, as with many things in life, in order to truly understand you must experience for yourself. We encourage you to come for a visit on a Sunday morning.
