We Believe that children are unique, and as early childhood educators, we are concerned with the social, emotional, physical, intellectual, and spiritual development of each child in our care. We believe in treating all children with respect and dignity. Creating a nurturing, Christian environment is a primary objective of our program.
We Believe that children learn best through their play. Therefore, our curriculum is designed to offer challenging; learning opportunities through structured and creative play experiences with specific learning goals in mind. We provide activities in our indoor and outdoor environments that are safe, secure, and challenging. We believe that the planned activities in these environments will help children to grow and develop. Focus is put on the process of learning, rather than the product, and therefore, we strive to provide classroom experiences through which all children will experience success.
We Believe that early childhood educators need to focus on nurturing a positive self-image in each child. We foster this self-esteem and the development of social interaction skills through a variety of independent and group activities.
We Believe that parents are vital to the young child’s development. The parent is the first teacher and the expert on each child. We seek to support and encourage parents in their role and serve as resource persons to enrich the parent-child relationship.
We Believe that all individuals are uniquely created by God and it is our purpose to make Christ known to each child and family who enrolls in our program. We endeavor to provide opportunities for children to realize their full potential unhampered by stereotyped expectations of race, disability, sex, or socio-economic class.
